Okey, here comes the latest update of this past week;) Well, on Wednesday Steffie and I headed out to ESA-ESTEC to see the astronauts of the STS-116 crew on tour (which included the first Swedish/Scandinavian astronaut ever: Christer Fuglesang!!). This was the first time in a decade that a "whole" astronauts crew came to ESA, so everyone was quite excited (remember we are space geeks;) ). I say "whole" because one of the girls are still up at the space station and could therefore obviously not join the tour. And the pilot of the crew is the man of the "love triangle" which you all have probably heard about - and he has been grounded since the incident and was thus not allowed to tour with the others. But the rest of the astronauts came and told us about their lovely time in space, and signed autographs for us:D

In the pictures above you see Christer Fuglesang in space at the same time as he is on the ground:) And in the picture to the right he is signing autographs.
This week I also took a sushi course with a French friend of mine; Mathilde. We decided it was time to get a little bit more cultural so we joined the course taught by my yoga teacher. It was really fun and easy, except that you have to be really creative, which let's face it is not my strong side;) But we tried our best and here you can see me eating one of my masterpieces:

Next to it you can see some of the sushi we made (and "shimmi" which is the fish on rice without seaweed wrapped around it). The "fish lady" was made by me:D

Summer in April :D
In less than a week I have gone from winter in Norway (my Easter holidays) to summer in the Netherlands. It is quite amazing how much the weather has changed in such a short time! Just look at these pictures:
Easter holidays were spent at our new cabin in Ål (in the Norwegian mountains) with snowboarding or cross-country skiing during the days, and "badstue" and the swimming pool in the evenings:) Last Sunday we even had about 20cm of snow falling, so Monday the "unprepared" black slope was absolutely fantastic!! Just like off-piste:D
Today I went to the beach (Scheveningen) with some German girls, just like every other Dutch person in the country... We lay in the sun all afternoon, tried to get a little bit into the water ("plasket") and ate some ice cream. Here in Holland it was 28 degrees in the shadow today, and we have 20 degrees in the evenings - so it is just like being on vacation in "Syden"! I love it :D The only problem is that it is not vacation, and we still have to try and study in between all the great weather...;)
